The Blue Rock Inn is a classic Virginia country inn located on 80 rolling
acres, in picturesque Rappahannock County. The inn itself is a turn of the
century farmhouse that has been enchantingly converted into dining rooms,
a pub and five guest rooms. The views are breathtaking. As you relax on
the patio, enjoying an exquisite meal and sipping a wine from our extensive
wine list, you look out over a sparkling pond, with a back drop of
vineyards, orchards and farm fields stretching to the foothills of the Blue
Ridge Mountains, highlighted by the brilliant gold of sunset.

The inn's guest rooms have private baths. The 4 upstairs rooms offer
private balconies, featuring spectacular views of the Blue Ridge
Mountains and our secluded property. A small library room is available
upstairs for our house guests.

The choices for activities are endless. You can hike the trails of the
Shenandoah National Park, bicycle on back country roads, ride horseback
through the Blue Ridge foothills, canoe or fish the legendary Shenandoah
River, hunt for antiques in the charming shops of Washington and
Sperryville just minutes away, or relax on our back patio with an outdoors
massage and spa treatment. We also recommend taking a tasting tour of
our nearby wineries, visiting attractions from Virginia's historic past or
playing a round of golf at a course just a half hour drive away. The other
option is to simply lounge around and do nothing, enjoying the peace of the
immediate surroundings, and let us take care of your every need. Our
